The Movie ‘Conscripted’ Set For Premiere In Abuja
On returning back from paradise "Denmark" where I lived for many years and coming from a place where things are done the right way I thought to affect the industry with my own contribution hence “Conscripted “a fictional film that x-ray security agencies’ patriotic fight against terrorism and other crimes in Nigeria is set to be premiered in Abuja.
The Producer of the film, Mr Odiase, explained that the premiere would hold on the 28th and 29th of April consecutively at the NAF Conference Center, Abuja.
According to him, the movie tells the story of insecurity as a global challenge, and why people should appreciate the selfless sacrifices paid by security men in the service to their fatherland. He said, “Conscripted” is a call to do good over evil and service to defend one’s country irrespective of the language we speak.

The scenes in the movie tends to portray what the country is going through and what we are doing to surmount terrorism, kidnap and all forms of insecurity threatening the peace of our country. He added that the scenes from “Conscripted” was careful played to appreciate and support security officers in ensuring a safe society for our citizenry.
Papel, the director, said the movie was a big boost and would open new frontiers for the film industry in Abuja, since it was all hundred per cent produced in the capital. “We have tried to use conscripted to create a niche for the movie industry in Abuja, hence all the actors, producer, director, and even the equipment and locations used in the movie are from within Abuja.” He told belvontimes.
The movie was produced by an incredible effort of three individuals, Myself, Ken Iwoji and Chinyere Onah who formed a tag team with the name Capital Pictures. He added that having Papel on board to direct was excellent because he told the story the way it ought to be told and he practically edited on set.
Finally Mr Aik Odiase told Belvontimes officially that about 16 million Naira was spent to bring the film to limelight.
