Azubuike And Turkish Club Gets Close in On Promotion


Yena Malatyaspor are top of the Turkish second division with 60 points with two rounds of matches to be played.

They are two points clear of closest rivals Sivasspor and will win automatic promotion if they won at home on Sunday against Boluspor.

“I am happy that I’m about to lift the club to the top league, the Super Lig. Hopefully, we will win our next game and be there,” said Azubuike.

The central midfielder has made 28 appearances for his club this season.

Nigeria international Sunday Mba is also at the Turkish club.
