Elated Victor Osimhen hails Wolfsburg fans after Bundesliga debut

The Nigeria youngster was a second half substitute in a game disrupted by bad weather as Wolfsburg forced visiting Eintracht Frankfurt to a 1-1 draw.


“He was very, very happy to make his debut,” an equally elated representative of the player, Ariyo Igbayilola, told SCORENigeria

“He paid a glowing tribute to the fans of his club, saying he truly appreciates all the love and support he received from them.”

Osimhen makes Bundesliga debut

Osimhen’s red letter day was blotted by a booking for a foul, but Ariyo said the youngster was not worried by the caution.

“No the card did not spoil his special day,” maintained the representative.

“It was an unfortunate booking, he was only anxious to help his team and in the process he got the card.

“It’s part of the game.”
